@DOM_Frederic My goodness, some fans need to stop with the Schwarbs stuff. Cubs weren’t going to pay him 80M. So they got Bryce Ball for Joc instead of a guy like Aldo Ramirez for Schwarb. If that’s such a HUGE set back that fans need to complain years later, then the Cubs have bigger issues.

@Cody_CHGO You can be mad the Cubs didn’t get a better random mid level prospect for him vs getting Bryce Ball for Pederson but they were never going to pay him. Your level of annoyance has greatly outpaced the actual set back the decision brought to the Cubs.

I think Bryce could be great but historically Alabama QBs aren’t and tangibles like size could play issues in Chicago. Wouldn’t risk it. Hope Bryce ball out in the NFL loved him at Mater Dei High
